Ry entered foster care just before her fifth birthday. She and her younger sister were in care for a while before being reunited with their mother. Unfortunately, this reunification lasted only a month, and the girls returned to foster care. They were separated, with the younger sister moving in with her biological father, along with their brother, while Ry was placed in a pre-adoptive home. The family found the stress overwhelming and decided to reach out to a former foster family. In May 2019, Ry moved back in with her forever family and was adopted in 2020. She enjoys art, crafting, and dancing, and is known for being creative and expressive.

Ry is an art-loving preteen who enjoys discovering new songs and learning the latest dance trends. Her current tablet is more suited for younger children and does not meet her needs for music, creativity, or learning. Ry would love a new tablet that would allow her to create digital art, draw, explore music, and practice dance trends she can share with her friends. Having a more age-appropriate device would support her creativity, help her learn new skills, and give her a fun way to express herself.
