Damien is a fashion savvy foster youth who loves hanging out with is friends. He is enrolled in a program designed to support high school students in care as they prepare for college, careers, and independent living. This year-round initiative focuses on leadership, academics, and life skills.

This summer, Damien will join 60 peers from foster care for a transformative three-week experience in New York. Staying at Hofstra University, they will explore colleges, consider career options, and immerse themselves in new cultures while traveling the city. For many, this is their first chance to broaden their horizons and imagine new futures. To help capture these moments, we aim to provide each participant with a digital camera, allowing them to document their journey. Damien, a laid-back kid who loves sports, will likely enjoy using the camera at the Yankees game they attend.
