The Friends of Foster CareDion is in foster care and has a playful personality; he is always joking around. He enjoys spending time with his friends and his brother. Currently, he is enrolled in a program that supports high school students in foster care as they prepare for college, careers, and independent living. This year-round initiative focuses on developing leadership skills, academics, and life skills.
Dion is excited about his upcoming trip to New York in July, where he will attend a three-week immersive camp with other foster youth. This program provides a unique out-of-state college experience that aims to broaden participants' understanding of the opportunities available worldwide. He would really appreciate having a digital camera to capture and save memories from this adventure.
