Elliot is a bright and resilient young man who is currently in foster care. This is his second time in care. He lives in an independent living arrangement with his young daughter, whom he is raising on his own. As a child, Elliot was adopted, but after the passing of his adoptive mother, his adoptive father returned him to state custody. Despite experiencing significant loss and instability throughout his life, Elliot has remained determined to build a better future for himself and his daughter. Recently, Elliot's roommate moved out, leaving him responsible for all household expenses on his own. He also faces transportation challenges, as he does not have a driver's license or a vehicle, making it difficult to get to work. His support system is small and consists mainly of his caseworker and a few close friends. Elliot has overcome tremendous obstacles and continues to work hard every day to provide for his daughter. He is a devoted father who is doing an amazing job raising her without family support. His focus is on creating a stable and successful future for both of them. While parenting and work take up most of his time now, Elliot previously enjoyed sports, especially track and baseball. He is a hardworking, caring young man whose perseverance and dedication are evident in everything he does.

Elliot is a young man living on his own. He has expressed frustration about not having any tools. He feels that there’s nothing worse than needing to make a quick fix at home and being unable to do so because he lacks the proper tools. A starter set of basic tools would be incredibly helpful for Elliot to have on hand.
