Yamah is a compassionate young person currently residing in a Transitional Housing Program for foster youth. She is incredibly motivated, hard working and respectful. She attends school regularly, completes online courses, works at an amusement park, has a summer internship and makes time for family and friends. With many things going on, she is always open to exploring colleges and careers to plan for her future. At such a young age, she is so self-driven and that makes her so unique.

Recently, Yamah's transportation resource support funded by the county came to an abrupt end. She was receiving transportation support to and from school and often uses public transit to get to work. Due to the loss of her transportation support to school, Yamah now relies heavily on public transportation; the only issue is that the bus stops are very far from home. Yamah wants a foldable electric scooter so she can use it to get to and from bus stops, making it easier to get to school, work, and internship.
