Christina entered foster care at just 12 years old after repeatedly running away from an abusive home, beginning a childhood marked by constant movement between foster placements and group homes. Without a stable place to land, she often carried a deep sense of being unloved and unseen. Those early experiences shaped how she viewed herself and the world, making it hard to trust and feel safe. But today, Christina is on a different path. She is intentionally focusing on healing—learning how to sit with her emotions, understand them, and give herself the care she was once denied. Through this journey, she is beginning to build a sense of self-love and worth that no one can take away. Christina now dreams of becoming a therapist, hoping to one day support others who have faced similar pain, turning her story into a source of strength and connection for those still finding their way.

Christina is wishing for a mini fridge to keep at work so she can have her own space to store snacks, drinks, and lunch items throughout the day. Having a dedicated place for her food and beverages would make her workdays more convenient and help her stay organized. It would also allow her to keep healthy snacks and cold drinks readily available, especially during long or busy shifts. A mini fridge would give Christina a sense of independence and make it easier for her to prepare ahead for the workweek. Instead of relying on shared storage or making extra trips to purchase food and drinks, she would have a personal space to keep the items she enjoys. This practical gift would be something she uses every day and would help make her time at work more comfortable and enjoyable.
