Skyla grew up in the foster care system and, despite facing many challenges throughout her life, has always strived to create a better future for herself. Her resilience and determination have allowed her to overcome numerous obstacles and achieve the goals she set for herself. Skyla is currently a full-time student at the University of Riverside, pursuing her education with focus and dedication. Alongside her studies, she works full-time as a behavioral therapist, supporting children on the autism spectrum with compassion and patience. Skyla’s strength, perseverance, and commitment to both her personal growth and helping others truly reflect her inspiring character and bright future ahead.

Skyla is a dedicated and hardworking Behavioral Technician who spends much of her week supporting and advocating for young clients on the autism spectrum. Her work requires patience, compassion, and a significant amount of emotional and mental energy as she helps her clients develop skills and achieve meaningful progress in their daily lives. After long days of providing care and support to others, Skyla values the opportunity to unwind and recharge at home. Her wish is for a Roku projector that would allow her to create a comfortable and relaxing entertainment space where she can enjoy movies, television shows, and other content during her downtime.
