Vida is an amazing young lady who was placed in foster care but still finds a reason to smile and help others. Vida likes to volunteer at her church's food pantry on weekends. Vida loves school and is a great student. She loves sports and is currently on her high school's girls basketball team. Vida has not allowed her situation to stop her finding joy in the smallest of things.

Vida just received exciting news that she will be working as a lifeguard at the YMCA this summer. She loves swimming, so this is truly a dream job for her. Vida will be working at one of the larger YMCA locations at their outdoor pool, where she will be spending long, active days in the sun. She has requested a new insulated waterbottle to help keep her water cold so she can stay properly hydrated while on duty. Vida is currently on summer break from college and is working hard to save money toward purchasing her first car. Support with this item would not only help her stay comfortable and healthy while working, but also ease a small financial burden as she continues working toward her goals and building her independence.
