A bike for Wyatt who gets bored while playing outside

Wyatt, 10 years old, MO | 22 DAYS WAITING

Wish submitted by:

MO DSS Children's Division - St. Francois County

Wyatt is a wonderful boy who is currently living in foster care for the second time. He is autistic and can find it difficult when facing significant changes or transitions. Wyatt is living with his aunt, whom he loves very much and feels comfortable with. He does not enjoy going to school, although he does like PE class. In his free time, Wyatt enjoys reading and playing video games, which help him relax and stay engaged in activities he enjoys.

Wyatt enjoys being outside but can get bored fairly quickly. Having a bike of his own would give him a fun and active way to spend more time outdoors, staying engaged and moving throughout the day. There is a group of kids in his apartment complex who ride bikes together, and he would love the opportunity to join them and be part of that group. A bike would not only help him stay active but also support social connection and a sense of belonging with his peers.
