Kurt came into care with nothing, having no shoes and no clean clothes. He is a cheerful, carefree young man who loves the outdoors, enjoys running, and has a great sense of fun. Kurt enjoys junk food, remote control trucks, and watching cartoons. He previously experienced a failed adoption and has returned to the system.

Kurt wishes for a fishing pole for his birthday so he can spend the summer doing something he loves. His previous fishing pole broke while he was out fishing, and he was incredibly disappointed. Since then, he has been hoping for a new one so he can get back to enjoying his favorite pastime. With school out for the summer, Kurt looks forward to relaxing days by the water, casting a line, and enjoying the outdoors. Fishing gives him a chance to unwind, have fun, and make lasting memories. Receiving a new fishing pole would make his birthday extra special and allow him to spend the summer doing what he enjoys most.
