Homero spent nearly eight years in the foster care system. After aging out, he made the decision to pursue higher education and successfully earned an associate’s degree in welding. He also has a strong passion for cars and enjoys working on them in his free time. Homero is currently building and restoring two different car projects, which allows him to apply his skills while doing something he truly loves.

Sometimes Homero likes to embrace his nerdy side, and for him that joy comes through his lifelong love of Pokémon cards. He has been a collector for years, but with the responsibilities of work and college expenses, it has become difficult for him to continue growing his collection. He would love to receive a Pokémon Mega Evolution Trainer Box set, which would allow him to add to his collection without added financial stress. This wish would not only support his hobby, but also give him a meaningful way to reconnect with something that has brought him joy since childhood and continue nurturing his inner child.
