NM CYFD - San Juan CountySelina has been in foster care for the last few years. During her really tough transitions, she has relied on her favorite shows, Bluey, Spidey and Friends, and Ms. Rachel to help provide comfort. Selina loves to learn and has been working on her letters and numbers. She is fascinated by animals and loves getting to see them any chance she gets.
Selina loves Disney princesses, especially Frozen. She recently found a weighted Frozen blanket that she really wants. Selina is hoping the blanket will help her manage anxiety, especially during times when she is alone. The calming weight and familiar Frozen design would bring her comfort and help her feel more at ease. Selina would also love to add this blanket to her “big girl” room as something special that reflects her interests and helps her feel safe and comfortable in her space.
