Valerie is asking for a gift card from Wal-Mart so that she may buy clothing for winter and basic necessities. She, at this time, is walking and taking the bus to and from her appointments and school and is in need of warmer clothing to help her stay dry in the wet winter weather.

Valerie is a young mom who is working on bettering her life and reaching her goals. Her daughter is 2, and she loves being a mom. She has had a lot of obstacles pop up over the past few years, and is trying to build a support network. She likes spending time with her daughter and boyfriend, and would like to attend college.
