Lori also benefits greatly from rhythmic movement and play, which helps her stay engaged, regulated, and happy throughout her day.
When the world feels stressful, Lori loves to swing—it helps her feel calm, regulated, and happy. She enjoys spending time on the swing set for hours, but the weather doesn’t always allow for outdoor play. An indoor sensory “hugging” swing would give her that same comforting experience year-round. This would also make a wonderful birthday gift for Lori, bringing her joy, comfort, and a safe way to self-regulate indoors.
