Khalil is currently living in his grandmother’s care after experiencing domestic violence in his biological parents’ home. He has some sensory sensitivities, but he is very strong with numbers and words. He enjoys hands-on science projects and learning through exploration. Khalil also loves to sing and spend time in the water, especially swimming and paddleboarding. One of his favorite foods is cheeseburgers.

Khalil could benefit from a sensory mat to help support his sensory processing needs. The mat features a variety of textures that can help him explore different tactile sensations in a calming and supportive way. Using the sensory mat may help Khalil with sensory integration while providing soothing input through touch, supporting him as he builds comfort and regulation skills.
