June grew up in the foster care system and has now moved into her own independent apartment. She is a funny, creative, and goal-oriented young adult who can brighten up a room with her jokes and smile. June loves music, whether she is listening to it or writing her own songs. She enjoys playing the piano and guitar, as well as singing. In her free time, she likes playing Minecraft, dancing, and chatting with friends on social media. June also values the time she spends with her mentor, and together they encourage each other to explore nature more often.

Jae doesn't have a car and relies currently on walking & public transit to get around. Jae also doesn't have any family in the area so she is fairly isolated and has to meet most of her needs independently. Jae is wanting to feel more confident & independent in her ability to meet her needs. Jae is really hoping for an electric bike! Having an electric bike to get around the city would greatly support her in feeling independent and confident. Jae is also hoping to be able to start doing some doordash deliveries to make some extra money in her spare time & having this bike would be a big start to that financial independence as well.
