From a young age, Jackie has dealt with various challenges related to immigration, housing instability, and trauma. Despite these difficulties, she has shown remarkable resilience. Jackie finds joy in dancing, creating TikToks, doing her hair and makeup, spending time with friends, and laughing.

Jacky has always felt out of place in her home as a kid informally adopted by her mom's best friend. She has also felt second place. However, this past month, she was just gifted with her own room after living in the living room for most of her life. She is so excited.
