Miguel is a young adult participating in Ascentria's Unaccompanied Refugee Minors Program. He arrived in the United States in 2022, fleeing his home country of Guatemala in search of safety and support. Over the years, Miguel has dedicated himself to learning English and advancing his education, recently celebrating his high school graduation in May 2026. In addition to his studies, he enjoys staying active and works part-time at a restaurant.

Miguel, a recent high school graduate, is excited to start his journey at Community College this Fall. To succeed in his classes, he really needs a dependable laptop for research, projects, and staying organized with assignments. After two years of working part-time as a chef at a local restaurant, he's been saving up to help cover the cost of this important tool. Having a laptop will make a big difference in his college experience, allowing him to keep up with his studies and make the most of this new chapter in his life.
