City Living NYMia just moved into her first apartment with her family after growing up in foster care and facing real adversity along the way. Despite it all, she stays optimistic and focused on what's next for her and her daughter.
Getting her license would give Mia the freedom to visit family and cast a wider net once she starts job hunting this fall. She's waiting until her daughter is in school full-time, and in the meantime, lessons and a road test would put her firmly on the path toward that goal.
