Alexis is currently in foster care and has adjusted well to her living situation. She has a passion for creating art, particularly enjoying drawing with alcohol markers and watercolor pencils. In school, Alexis has been exploring various art forms and hopes to someday enter her artwork in a show.

Alexis is hoping to get a weighted blanket because she believes it will help her feel more comfortable and relaxed. After going through a lot of trauma before entering foster care, she’s been working hard in therapy, and it’s really made a difference for her. The idea of having a weighted blanket feels like another way to support her healing journey and create a sense of calm in her life.
