Angel is a bright young man who enjoys playing different sports, hanging out with his family (including his little sister), and skating with his friends. Angel has been in and out of the foster care system since he was a baby. At times, he returned to his parents, but was then removed again on multiple occasions. Angel has flashbacks from his past, and he is reminded of the hardships he went through in the care of his parents, but also in the care of some foster homes. Despite all of this, Angel remains a respectful young man who still laughs and makes jokes with his social worker and with those around him.

Angel, a determined young man in foster care, just reached an important milestone by graduating from middle school, even after attending five different schools. It wasn’t easy; he faced many challenges that made it tough to keep up academically. But instead of giving up, he sought help and stayed focused, ultimately celebrating his achievement alongside his classmates. Now, as he looks forward to high school, Angel has shared his desire for a "fresh start." He’s ready to work hard and chase his dream of attending San Diego State University. A hoodie from San Diego State would mean so much more than just clothing; it would remind him every day that people believe in him and support his journey as he takes this exciting step toward his future.
