NM CYFD - San Juan CountyBraeden entered foster care several years ago and struggled with being away from his family for an extended period. During this challenging time, he felt lost, particularly as he tried to find his identity as a young teenager. However, Braeden has spent a significant amount of time in therapy, discovering positive coping strategies to help him through this difficult period. He developed a passion for sports and participates in football, wrestling, and baseball. Braeden enjoys going to school and has a particular interest in math and science. In his spare time, he loves playing video games. Plus, Braeden has found a sense of belonging at church; he attends regularly and is active in the youth group.
Braeden really enjoys summer, especially because he gets to take part in different sports camps. With the school year around the corner, he’s on the hunt for a new backpack and has his heart set on a bright red one that he thinks will be perfect for carrying all his supplies.
