Denisha is a really good older sister to her younger brothers. She tries hard to ensure they are safe and comfortable and meet their needs. She loves to read and go to school and is working on gaining some confidence as she tries to catch up in school. She is such a sweet girl. After being removed from her mom's care, Denisha was placed with a cousin.

Denisha is really excited about finally having permanency in her life, but she can’t shake the sadness of learning that her youngest sibling will be placed in a different home. It’s tough to think about being apart when they've always been together, and she has always played the role of the big sister. Even though they'll be able to stay in touch, it won’t be the same as seeing each other every day. Still, Denisha is trying her best to keep a positive outlook and stay motivated. Her caregiver thought a new watch would be a great gift for her; it could serve as a reminder of her growth and the new responsibilities that come with it. Plus, she’ll absolutely love the grey and purple colors!
