AcademySTAYRosy entered extended foster care as a teenager and aged out at the end of 2024. Since moving into AcademySTAY, Rosy has been focused on her goals: gaining job skills, saving money. She brings a calm, determined presence to the community and is working hard to develop the life skills she didn’t have the chance to learn earlier. She’s currently taking classes at the local community college and looking for part-time work to build experience and stability. Her next chapter is just beginning.
Rosy is requesting a blanket because her current one has worn out completely, leaving her bed without one. Something as simple as a fresh, reliable blanket makes a real difference in feeling settled and cared for in her own space.
