Camelot Community CareJojo is extremely resilient and loves to learn new things. Jojo was removed from her parents at 11 months old and has developmental and intellectual disabilities. Jojo is learning more and more every day at her new foster placement and loves to experience the world around her. She is making great strides and has even learned to walk in recent months. Jojo is always smiling and trusting of the people around her, despite experiencing extreme abuse and neglect beginning at birth. Jojo's smile and laugh are infectious to people around her.
Jojo has developmental and intellectual delays that have made everyday milestones, like learning to walk, especially challenging. She also has flat feet and sensory sensitivities, which make finding comfortable, well-fitting shoes a difficult process. Jojo needs the opportunity to visit a store with her foster parent to try on shoes that provide the right fit, support, and comfort. New shoes will give Jojo the confidence and freedom to explore her surroundings, discover new experiences, and continue reaching important milestones.
