Homero spent nearly eight years in the foster care system. After aging out, he made the decision to pursue higher education and successfully earned an associate’s degree in welding. He also has a strong passion for cars and enjoys working on them in his free time. Homero is currently building and restoring two different car projects, which allows him to apply his skills while doing something he truly loves.

Homero wants to add car painting to his growing list of skills so he can eventually start charging to paint cars for others. An air compressor would help him learn this new trade and open up more ways to support himself down the road.
