Rosselyn has endured some time filled with immense challenges, from her family’s sudden eviction to the traumatic separation from her parents and most of her siblings. Despite these hardships, she continues to show remarkable strength and compassion. Her caregiver describes her as sweet, caring, and deeply protective of the younger child placed with her. She finds comfort in spending time with her siblings whenever she can and loves engaging in playful, creative activities. Recently, she’s developed a new interest in slime, which has become a fun and calming outlet for her.

Rosselyn would like to visit her father, who is currently incarcerated. Due to transportation barriers, she has not been able to see him in person for several months. Rosselyn has been eagerly creating drawings for her father while they have been apart. She made him a special Father’s Day drawing that she has been unable to give him and hopes to present it to him during an in-person visit. One of her favorite drawings is of herself and her father riding horses together, reflecting one of her happiest memories with him. Rosselyn often talks about how much she misses horseback riding with her dad and looks forward to sharing these meaningful drawings with him.
