Jaxton is a sweet young boy who faces big emotional and developmental challenges due to early childhood trauma. Because of this, his body stays in a constant state of high alert, making it very hard for him to calm down when he gets overwhelmed or upset. He is currently in occupational therapy to help him learn how to feel safe and secure in his body. Jaxton loves exploring his world, and with the patient support of his dedicated caregivers, he is working hard every day to learn new coping skills, manage his big feelings, and shine.

Jaxton struggles a lot with overheating, and feeling too hot is a major trigger that makes him feel unsafe and overwhelmed. In therapy, he has shown great progress by using cool temperatures to help soothe his nervous system. This cooling vest and set of packs will give Jaxton a safe, comforting way to regulate his body temperature. Having this special gear at home will help him stay cool, prevent emotional distress, and allow him to safely focus on playing, learning, and growing.
