A Pilates membership for Anna who is building healthier habits
Anna H, 16 years old, NJ
Wish submitted by:
Court Appointed Special Advocates of Atlantic County, Inc.Anna has been through a lot, including the sudden loss of her father and years of uncertainty about her mother's situation. Despite it all, she stays positive and is looking forward to starting a new school, getting her first job, and eventually becoming a police officer.
After previously weighing over 200 pounds and struggling with an eating disorder to control her weight, Anna is now focusing on maintaining a healthier lifestyle. Although she never achieved the extreme skinniness she desired, she has recently noticed a gradual return of the pounds. With the support of her therapist, she is eager to develop healthier habits and has discovered a genuine passion for Pilates. Although she hasn’t attended a formal class yet, she has explored various online sessions. A membership would provide her with a positive and sustainable way to stay active and care for herself.
