Her experiences with instability, trauma, and drama during those early years fueled her determination to succeed and to change the world's perception of foster children. She is extremely proud of graduating from high school and becoming a certified nursing assistant (CNA). Maria is fully committed to advancing her career.

Maria is working hard to run her small business, Barbie Latina Shop Boss, and grow her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Living with ADHD, Maria often struggles to keep her personal and professional goals on track without proper structure and organization. She currently does not have a proper place to store her shoes and feels that the tidiness of her personal space suffers as a result.
