Shawn was placed into foster care after being missing for over six months. He left the home he was living in due to physical and emotional abuse. Shawn loves playing sports and hopes to attend UCLA one day to play basketball. Initially, he was hesitant about entering foster care because he was afraid of being placed in a home with strangers. However, Shawn has settled down and formed a connection with his foster parent. He is back in school and is working hard to catch up on his grades.

Shawn worked hard in summer school to catch up his grades and will be a senior when he returns next month. He asked for a pack of PSD underwear to add to his back to school wardrobe so he can dress like his peers.
