Ashley enjoys being actively involved in her school and community. She loves playing basketball and soccer, building with Legos, and swimming. Ashley is also a confident self-advocate who enjoys taking an active role in her learning and activities.

Ashley is looking forward to attending camp, but after reviewing the packing list, she realized she is missing many of the essential items required for her stay. She is wishing for a shopping trip to Walmart so she can personally select the clothing, gear, and supplies needed for her trip. As a young woman being able to pick out her own gear gives Ashley a wonderful sense of independence, readiness, and ownership over her experience.
