Kyah is a quiet and intelligent student. Despite facing challenging circumstances, she excels in her studies. Living in a household with twelve other family members and with her mom not working creates significant hardships. However, Kyah demonstrates resilience and continues to thrive. She has a passion for reading and enjoys spending time in nature.

Kyah is really looking forward to starting school, but she's feeling overwhelmed by the hurdles ahead. She’s been hoping to land a job, but without transportation and with her mom also struggling to find work, it’s hard to see how they’ll afford new clothes. Kyah has grown out of her old ones, and the thought of going to school in clothes that are too tight makes her anxious. Being shy and easily embarrassed doesn’t help, and her mom is genuinely worried about how Kyah is managing all this.
