Mia has spent almost her entire life in foster care and is finally looking forward to her adoption. She's an honor roll student who plays volleyball for her high school team and she dreams of going to college to become a lawyer.

Mia is hoping to celebrate finally having a permanent family with a trip to Disney World. It would be a chance to make joyful new memories that can help replace some of the harder ones she's carried for so long.
