Jazmyr is an active young boy with a big imagination and a bright spirit. He is currently living with his grandparents while hoping to reunite with his mom in the near future. Jazmyr is working hard to understand and manage his emotions, with the support of his therapist, so he can continue growing and thriving. With patience, guidance, and encouragement, Jazmyr is learning new ways to express himself and build the skills he needs to succeed.

Jazmyr was nervous about attending summer camp because he wasn’t sure who he would meet or what to expect. His team encouraged him that if he took this big step, he would be rewarded with a toy he really wanted. Jazmyr picked out an action figure with a motorcycle. With encouragement and a positive reward to look forward to, Jazmyr felt more confident about taking this new step. He is working hard to face new experiences and build his confidence, and earning an action figure will be an exciting reminder of his accomplishment.
