NM CYFD - San Juan CountyBraeden entered foster care several years ago and struggled with being away from his family for an extended period. During this challenging time, he felt lost, particularly as he tried to find his identity as a young teenager. However, Braeden has spent a significant amount of time in therapy, discovering positive coping strategies to help him through this difficult period. He developed a passion for sports and participates in football, wrestling, and baseball. Braeden enjoys going to school and has a particular interest in math and science. In his spare time, he loves playing video games. Plus, Braeden has found a sense of belonging at church; he attends regularly and is active in the youth group.
Braeden found a multicolored pack of jogger pants he'd love to wear during the school day. Comfort matters a lot to him as he heads into the new year.
Children, Youth and Families Department requests this wish for Braeden.
