Fostering Hope - MontcoAmaya's journey into foster care and independent living has been challenging. After experiencing several failed reunifications, she is now preparing to age out of the foster care system. Amaya has two guinea pigs that she takes care of, and she has a keen interest in beauty treatments, particularly facials. In the future, she hopes to earn her cosmetology license, but for now, she is focusing on pursuing Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training and a career in healthcare. Additionally, Amaya dreams of traveling to Egypt, as her family has roots there.
Amaya knows exactly how much technology shapes her future and she's just been trying to keep up with a phone that's fighting her every step of the way. Her current iPhone barely holds a charge and breaks down when she needs it most. For Amaya, an iPhone 15 means having a dependable tool she can count on to chase educational opportunities and explore career paths that matter to her.
