Amaya's journey into foster care and independent living has been challenging. After experiencing several failed reunifications, she is now preparing to age out of the foster care system. Amaya has two guinea pigs that she takes care of, and she has a keen interest in beauty treatments, particularly facials. In the future, she hopes to earn her cosmetology license, but for now, she is focusing on pursuing Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training and a career in healthcare. Additionally, Amaya dreams of traveling to Egypt, as her family has roots there.

As Amaya has grown older, she has come to understand the important role that technology plays in our world. Currently, she has an old iPhone that is constantly breaking and not holding a charge. Having a reliable iPhone 15 would enable her to pursue educational opportunities and potential career paths.
