Adrian grew up living with his bipolar single mother, who ultimately lost her life due to mental health issues, leaving Adrian alone in the foster system. Without many family connections or a strong support network, Adrian moved through five different foster homes, navigating constant change during some of the most important years of his life. Despite these challenges, Adrian has grown into a hardworking and resilient young adult.

Adrian spends long hours each day delivering for DoorDash. When he finishes, he often fantasizes about having time to himself to ride around freely. There is a community center near his apartment where he enjoys watching others ride their bikes. He dreams of owning an e-bike so that he can join them and experience that freedom himself.
