Hope + VineJayla aged out of foster care in Wake County after living in over 20 foster homes. She is working hard to get on the right track to set herself up for success. She needs to finish up her GED and then go to community college. She is working hard as one of our artisans. She is very creative, she loves to write, draw and do hair designs.
Having recently moved into her own apartment, Jayla is focused on building a stable foundation for her future. Her immediate goals are to complete her high school education through online classes and explore potential career paths. Currently, she relies entirely on her cell phone to navigate daily tasks. Receiving a laptop will provide Jayla with the essential technology she needs to enroll in online courses, complete assignments, and comfortably research career opportunities.
