Javier is a resilient, compassionate young adult whose journey through foster care shaped his passion for helping others. Driven by his own lived experiences, he is starting college to study psychology and become a therapist for youth who have gone through trauma. Javier deeply believes that no one's past defines their future, and he is dedicated to helping young people build confidence and heal. Outside of school, he stays active, loves learning about history, and enjoys being outdoors. With his determination and big heart, Javier is ready to make a lasting, positive difference in his community.

At this time, Javier is in need of a new phone because his current device is broken and is no longer eligible for software updates. Having a reliable and updated phone would help Javier stay connected with his support system, access important resources, communicate with schools and potential employers, and manage appointments and other responsibilities. A working phone would provide Javier with an essential tool to support his educational goals and continue moving toward his goal of becoming a therapist.
