In a short period of time, he has had to navigate multiple transitions, first leaving his parents' home, then adjusting to foster care, and now settling into a new home with family. While being surrounded by loved ones offers stability and connection, the many changes have been difficult, and Armando is still learning how to adjust to his new reality.
Armando is wishing for a cool new pair of Nike sneakers to wear to school this year. A comfortable, stylish pair of shoes would help him feel confident as he walks the halls, plays with friends, and takes on each school day.
