Crystal is truly one of a kind. As an awesome big sister with a deep love for animals, she aspires to become a veterinarian. In 2024, her life changed dramatically when she and her dad narrowly escaped a devastating fire that claimed two loved ones. Though they suffered minor burns, Crystal faced sleepless nights and PTSD, having lost many personal belongings and spent weeks without a stable home. She later reunited with her mom, who has had her own medical issues, including brain surgery, and has limited income. Together, they care for Crystal’s younger half-sibling and their cherished dog. Despite the challenges, Crystal finds joy in playing with her dog, going to the movies, and making jewelry. Her favorite color is blue, and she has a special fondness for Hello Kitty. Through it all, Crystal’s resilience and spirit shine brightly, reflecting her strength and compassion.

Crystal would greatly benefit from a school supply starter box to help her prepare for the upcoming school year. This box should include essential items such as pencils, folders, paper, a binder, and other supplies that students need to be ready for school.
