Serenity is a very smart young lady who takes pride in her education. Despite having to come into foster care, Serenity has maintained a 4.0 GPA. She participates in the choir and has recently joined the marching band. When Serenity is not spending time with her friends, she enjoys reading a good book.

Serenity has faced more than her share of challenges since being removed from her mother's care, but through it all, she's managed to hold onto a 4.0 GPA and a genuine determination to keep it that way. A laptop would make a real difference for her, giving her the ability to stay on top of schoolwork even outside the classroom. Serenity has her sights set on college, where she hopes to pursue a degree in American Sign Language. Her passion for it is deeply personal, her father lost his hearing before he passed away, and that connection has stayed with her ever since. For Serenity, ASL is a way of honoring her father and building a future rooted in something that truly matters to her.
