Olivia lives with her mother and two brothers. Over the past few years, her family has faced significant challenges, including periods of homelessness. Despite these hardships, Olivia’s mother worked hard to create stability for her children and recently secured housing for the family. Their family first moved into a one-bedroom apartment, which was an important step forward. Now they have been approved for a three-bedroom home, and Olivia is especially excited about having her own bedroom and space for her own toys for the very first time. Olivia continues to approach life with excitement and joy. She is especially thrilled about the opportunity to take dance classes and explore something she truly loves.

As Olivia gets ready for first grade, she is wishing for a Walmart gift card to choose her own hygiene and self-care essentials. Having dedicated personal care products—such as a toothbrush, shampoo, lotion, and hair care items—will help her establish great morning routines and feel her best every day. Being able to pick out these items herself gives Olivia a sense of pride and excitement as she starts the new school year.
