Lucas is a sweet boy living in foster care with a family of seven. He brings so much joy to those around him and is growing and thriving every day, always wearing a little smile on his face. He has just begun to giggle when spoken to, which is a wonderful development. Despite having suffered extreme abuse early in his life, he is starting to understand that the world can be a safe place. He is truly a special little boy.

Lucas is continuing to heal from his early injuries, and doctors have stressed how important it is for him to get as much floor time as possible to help strengthen his core and support his development. But in a busy household, finding a safe space where he can stretch out and practice on his own isn't always easy. A gated play enclosure would give Lucas exactly that: a safe, enclosed area where he can work on building his strength through play throughout the day. This would give his caregivers some peace of mind while they are doing simple household tasks, such as making dinner while Lucas is playing. It's a simple addition that would make a real difference in supporting his healing and giving him the freedom to grow stronger at his own pace.
