He likes to play basketball and listen to music. He has expressed interest in working in a wildlife job in the future. He is actively applying to college currently and wants to make the best of his life despite prior circumstances.
Elijah entered a transitional living program for youth aging out of foster care in May 2026, and after considering his options, he has decided to commit to the University of Memphis, recently completing his orientation. With classes starting soon and limited support and resources, he faces significant challenges in preparing for this transition to dorm life. A gift card would greatly ease his worries, helping him purchase essential items such as bedding, pillows, bathroom and hygiene supplies, kitchen items, a laptop, and storage solutions. Any support during this crucial time would be incredibly appreciated.
