Sylvia is a sweet and bright girl who is currently in foster care. She loves reading and writing and enjoys learning new things. Her favorite color is purple, and she especially loves baking homemade bread with her aunt. Sylvia dreams of graduating from high school and hopes to one day work with young children, either at a daycare with toddlers or as a kindergarten teacher. Her caring nature and love for children make her dreams of working with little ones especially meaningful.

Sylvia has faced challenges beyond her control that kept her out of school for several years, but this month she is finally able to start attending in-person classes. While she is thrilled about this new chapter, she is also experiencing understandable anxiety about fitting in with her peers. Having a new, trendy Nike backpack would provide a wonderful confidence boost, helping her feel equipped, stylish, and right at home alongside the other students as she begins her education.
