Sophia has experienced a very difficult foster care journey, moving from home to home and facing many challenges along the way. Because of the instability she has experienced, she hasn’t always had the opportunity to discover the things that make her happy or explore her own interests. Now, in a loving and supportive foster home, Sophia is beginning to find her own sense of style and has developed an interest in makeup and doing her hair. Despite everything she has been through, Sophia remains optimistic and hopeful about her future. She dreams of becoming a nurse in the Navy and is excited to build a life filled with purpose, stability, and opportunities to help others.

Sophia wishes for a Hollister gift card so she can shop for clothes that match her personal style. Throughout her foster care journey, she has often worn used or hand-me-down clothing and hasn’t had many opportunities to choose clothes for herself. Now that she is beginning to discover her interests and develop her own sense of style, she would love the chance to pick out clothes that feel like “her.” Starting high school is an exciting new chapter for Sophia, and being able to choose fresh clothes from Hollister would help her feel confident, comfortable, and ready to start this new journey.
