Leo is a great kid who is always happy go lucky! He loves the outdoors, riding bikes, playing in the dirt, and climbing trees. He is full of energy and a vibrant young man. Leo has entered kingship care after staying in foster care for an extended time. His mother is a permanent resident of a nursing home and he gets to see her monthly. Unfortunately, after trying to live with his father he could not be cared for in that setting. He is tired of moving and just wants to settle down.

Leo has discovered a true passion for fishing this summer and is eager to take his new favorite hobby to the next level. For his birthday, he is wishing for a quality fishing pole that will help him hone his skills and make the most of his time by the water. Having a nicer, reliable rod will give him the confidence to practice casting, learn new techniques, and enjoy countless peaceful afternoons outdoors doing what he loves most.
