When Brody entered foster care, he was unable to bring any of his belongings with him. He has been struggling during this adjustment period, but he seems to be doing somewhat better and is beginning to trust his foster family. He says that his favorite color is red, and his favorite cartoon is "Spidey and Friends." He is a sweet boy who is still coming out of his shell.

Brody is beginning his journey to reading. So far, not much has kept his interest, and he does not want to sit down to practice his new skills. He does enjoy Pete the Cat, so a set of Pete the Cat Read with Me books may be just the thing he needs to create a love of reading.
